Impromptu Visit to JB

Hi sweet people!
It's eve of new year's eve! Unfortunately, Jeremy and I didn't have any plan in mind plus we woke up around 1pm. We suggested a few places but it wasn't feasible until I came out with the idea of going to JB. He didn't mind so we went ahead with that idea. We spend quite awhile deciding before that and preparing hence we reached jb at around 5pm. So all we could do was to walk around and spend on some snacks.
Had this sudden urge of doing my nails so we cab down to Holiday Plaza, the usual place where I have my nails done.
I realized I didn't really like this design like 3 hours later. I don't know why but I kind of regret painting the extra layer cause it looks kind of weird to me now but oh well, what done is already done. Shall visit them before Chinese New Year again.
It was time for dinner after doing my nails so we cabbed to Taman Sentosa. I swear every time I go to jb, I'll feel damn rich because their cab fare is so cheap. Their cab's flag down rate is already cheaper than our cabs in Singapore without even considering the exchange rate. It's like RM3 when ours is like $3 - $3.40, Singapore dollars. It's freaking cheap to take their cab there. It's only about RM6 to Holiday Plaza from City Square which is about $2.50.
So anyway, we reached our destination and we ordered 3 dishes. Cereal prawn, hot plate deer meat and baby kailan. Jeremy kept telling me that this place is only worth it if there's a lot of people eating. Just like the previous time when we came here with his ex-colleagues. We had 9 people and we ordered 10 dishes. I remembered we had chicken essence frog leg, stingray, kangkung, cereal & butter crayfish, chili crab & mantou, hotplate tofu, baby kailan etc. And each of us only pay RM40 which is about $17. So now, anyone wanna go jb with me to eat seafood? Hehehe. ^^~
So after eating, Jeremy and I went to find our lok lok cart. We were quite full already so we only ordered a few sticks. They even had bacon and enoki wrapped with bacon. Awesome shitzxc!
Honestly, it's only my second time eating lok lok and I can say it's really good. Although the appearance of the cart and everything will make you feel that it's really unhygienic and unhealthy cause they deep fry almost everything including broccoli, the food is really good, really! If you ever go jb, don't miss the lok lok. It's really nice. ^^~
After eating, we took cab, again, back to city square and we headed home. It's new year's eve tomorrow and we had plans already. Yay! We'll be having picnic with Sheila & Noel at Barrage and then we'll be watching the fire works. Can't wait for it!! And I know Barrage will definitely be full tomorrow which also means we had to squeeze with the people there. Oh no! :( Oh well, I'm still excited for tomorrow!
